I want too add, that My Sweet Potato Pies had been a HIT or MISS for years. But I`ve copied and tried your Mississippi recipe and it was a HIT! Yes I been making that particular pie for 40 years and I have tried many different methods and ingredients. But none of them was a sweet potato pie to me without NUTMEG.

Ms. Dunagan, I agree with you. That letter was completely mishandled. Ms. Adams showed no compassion or respect, whatsoever. Her demeanor was condescending and arrogant. To scoff, mock or laugh at someone who is coming to you saying they need help is irresponsible and cold hearted. Counseling ought to be left to those who are properly trained to do so. This is not a game.

So... I'm trying ti figure out how this Dear Abby process works. This young woman does sound lost and I'm not saying that tough love doesn't have a place but it feels like Mrs. Adams laughed at the young woman while reading her letter. I can understand Mrs. Adam's perspective but I suppose you should't write into a radio show where entertainment comes first if you really need Godly advice. Being a person of God doesn't always mean that they are gifted in all things. I'm pretty disappointed by the way she handled this letter. She may as well have written to Steve Harvey and Shirley Strawberry.

Some of the ads on this site are worldly. kinda weird for a Christian station. I guess you need the sponsorship. (Doesn't Mary Jane sleep with her boyfriends outside of the covenant of marriage). Love Gabrielle Union, but her show is a bit too "in this world" for me to give it a thumbs up for a Christian following.
